One of the questions I get asked most is how we made "Beautiful Girl" for Luciano. Here's the full breakdown.

The Session

It was a late night session at the studio in 2022. Luciano was working on his album Majestic and we had been going back and forth on ideas for weeks. The vibe that night was different — relaxed, no pressure.

The Beat

I started with a simple piano melody in FL Studio. The key was D minor — something melancholic but catchy. I layered it with a soft pad to give it warmth, then added the 808 pattern.

The drums were deliberately minimal. A clean kick, a snappy snare on the two and four, and hi-hats with a subtle bounce. The less-is-more approach let Luciano's voice sit perfectly in the mix.

The Hook

The hook melody came first — before any lyrics. I hummed it over the beat and Luciano immediately connected with it. He wrote the hook in about 15 minutes. When something clicks that fast, you know it's special.

The Result

"Beautiful Girl" went on to:

  • #1 in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
  • 6 consecutive weeks at the top of the German charts
  • 120 million+ streams on Spotify
  • One of the most successful German rap songs of all time
