Geenaro — Multi-Platinum Record Producer

Geenaro (born Gennaro Alessandro Frenken) is a multi-platinum, Billboard-charting record producer, songwriter, and artist from Mönchengladbach, Germany. With production credits that have accumulated over four billion streams worldwide and earned platinum and multi-platinum certifications in more than ten countries, he has established himself as one of the most internationally recognized producers to emerge from Europe.

In 2021, Geenaro joined Scorpion Gang under Summer Cem and executive-produced Luciano's album Aqua, which reached number three on the German Albums Chart. His work on Luciano's follow-up Majestic delivered some of the biggest records in German-speaking markets — including “Beautiful Girl”, which reached number one in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and held the top of the German charts for six consecutive weeks, as well as “Bamba” featuring Aitch and BIA, “SUVs”, and “West Connect” featuring Central Cee.

His global breakthrough came in 2024 with “Band4Band” by Central Cee featuring Lil Baby, which reached number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100, number three on the UK Singles Chart, and charted in over 30 countries. The track earned platinum certifications in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada, and received an ASCAP Award. The parent album Can't Rush Greatness debuted at number one in six countries and reached number nine on the Billboard 200.

Beyond the German and British markets, Geenaro has become a sought-after producer across Europe. In Italy, he produced Geolier's Dio lo Sa, which reached number one on the Italian Albums Chart and has been certified seven-times platinum by FIMI, as well as Shiva's Milano Angels, also a number-one album certified double platinum, featuring the number-one single “Gotham”. His catalogue now spans certifications in over fourteen countries, from the United States and Canada to Nigeria and New Zealand, as he continues to expand his reach globally.
